Our February winter cleanup tackled the winding Mountain Road corridor in Cornwall. Despite chilly temperatures, a dedicated group of volunteers came out to collect months of accumulated roadside trash along this scenic route.
The team worked from the Route 9W intersection up toward Mountainville, covering approximately 1.5 miles of road. Notable finds included dozens of beverage containers, fast food packaging, and several illegally dumped tires.
Thank you to every volunteer who braved the cold! Your dedication is what makes HVCC special. Together we filled 45 bags and removed 6 tires from the roadside.
