Bob Rogan founded the Hudson Valley Cleanup Crew after writing a letter to the Cornwall Local newspaper in December 2022 calling on neighbors to help clean up local roadsides. The response was overwhelming — the first cleanup on January 22, 2023 drew eager volunteers who shared his vision for a cleaner community.
What started as the Cornwall Cleanup Crew quickly grew beyond Cornwall, and in 2023 the organization incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit under the name Hudson Valley Cleanup Crew. Bob continues to lead weekly Sunday morning cleanups and coordinate with local municipalities to expand the crew’s reach across the region.
